Permit me to thank you for the copy of your annual report for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1898, and to congratulate yourself and associate officers on the excellent showing made.

It may interest you to know that the $450,000.00 par value Erie prior four bonds taken from you by the Car Co. on account of settlement have been purchased personally by Col. Hecker and myself and that we consider them a very desirable investment. This information is for Mr. Thomas and yourself.
