Mr. B. Hatashita,
Care Yamanaka and Co.,
272 Boylston Street, Boston, Mass.

My dear Sir:-

Your letter of 22nd instant is received and fully noted. In speaking with Mr. Yamanaka about you, in New York some time ago, he said he could not share you until after the new store was completed. If this has occurred some later than expected, it is quite natural for him to desire your services through the Holiday period and I think you show excellent judgment in remaining with him as long as he needs you. Whenever you are ready to take up your work here the place will be open to you, and in delaying your coming you are not hurting your prospects here at all.

I expect to be in Boston within ten days and will then do myself the pleasure of calling upon you.

Yours truly,
Charles L Freer
