My dear Mr. Meysenburg:-

In accordance with the conversation had with you on Saturday last, I wired Mr. Larkin this morning
"Saw Meysenburg last Saturday. He wants to know if he can avoid trip to New York and make collection and final settlement for Wells French Company when money is ready through First National Bank, Kindly answer here."

and in reply have received a message from him reading

"Telegram received. If Meysenburg instructs First National Bank to receive cash and interim certificates for stock when issued to the amount, coming to him, and authorizes Bank to make delivery of payers and give order onTrust [[on Trust]] Company directing distribution we can close without him. Should prefer otherwise."

and have this moment wired you

"Mr. Larkin wires settlement can be made without your personal presence in New York. Writing you to-day."

all of which I beg to confirm.

I judge from Mr. Larkin's message that the trip to New York, which you so much dislike to make can be readily avoided,however, I shall be in that city on Monday next or perhaps earlier, and if it should develop that it is necessary for you or your agent to appear personally, I will at once telegraph you.
