O.W.M.2.

American Car and Foundry Company, which I arranged for with you by telephone, I beg to say that I have personally paid the subscription price of $100.000.00 therefor, and would suggest that perhaps the simplest way to settle that part of the transaction would be for you to send me an order on the First National Bank to pay to me $100.000.00 on delivery of the shares above mentioned, or, I can send the paid up subscription to you direct and you can send me your check for the same. Let me know please, which way would suit you best.

I enjoyed my being with you last Saturday very much and was greatly pleased with all that I saw at your works. The two or three hours at your charming house were most reposeful and welcome. I hope after we have finished with the work in hand to meet you more frequently and to have the pleasure of seeing you often in Detroit.

With kindest regards. I am,

Yours sincerely,
Charles L Freer
