My dear Sir:-

Replying to your personal letter of the fifteenth instant addressed to me in New York and received by me here. I beg to say that I am leaving for New York again this evening and as early in the week as possible I will look into the matter mentioned, and if it is advisable to have Mr. [[Rarley?]] come on to the city, I will advise you. In addition, I will of course let you know the situation generally.
