Detroit, Mich., April 24th, 1899.

Mr. Wm. McBeth,
637 Fifth Avenue, New York City

My dear Mr. McBeth:-

Yours of 20th instant with letter from the V.G. Fischer Art Galleries of Washington is at hand and fully noted. I am sending you under cover herewith a letter which you possibly would like to send to Mr. Fischer direct.

In view of the prices now being paid for paintings by Inness, although I believe they are higher than they should be, I would not care to sell the "Home of the Heron" for less than $2500.00 net to me. If you have a chance to dispose of it at this figure, all right, if not please see that it is cared for in your own place or with some storage company, as your judgement may deem best.

I will sail for Italy the first week in May and expect to be absent all summer.

With kind regards. I am,

Yours very truly,
Charles L Freer
