Mr. W. K. Bixby,
President American Car & Foundry Co.,
St. Louis, Mo.

My dear Mr. Bixby:-

I have just wired you: "Would be very glad to see yourself and Mr. McMillan here on Friday. Col. Hecker and I will both be here that day. Deem it wise to have as many of your district managers present as can be conveniently assembled, including Canda." I think it important to include Canda, because I am inclined to think that when he becomes better acquainted with the facilities of the American Car & Foundry Company for doing its business, that he will be less anxious to start up his Carteret shops for the purpose of building cars. I deem it very wise to have Mr. Eaton here also, and I am quite sure that he can arrange his plans to be here on Frida, if you give him timely notice.

When you make your inspection tour to the St. Louis, St. Charles, Terre Haute and Ohio Falls plants, I wish you would arrange to have Mr. Hargreaves accompany you. He has not been to either of these plants recently, and I am sure it would be a very desirable thing to include him. Also Mr. Joe. Ames. If possible, it would be wise to include Mr. Eaton also, because he is quite unfamiliar with Western methods.

Yours very truly,
Charles L Freer
