Mr. Francis T. Morten,
Care Young's Hotel, Boston, Mass.

Dear Sir:-

I have recently purchased a farm in Berkshire County, Mass., which practically adjoins your quarry and I beg to inquire if you would care to sell the blocks of marble and quarry rubbish which I have noticed several times when passing your property. If you care to make a price, let it be, please, for the entire lot, that is, all loose stone of one kind and another at the quarry and on the field adjoining same. It has occurred to me that possibly I can use some of this material about my place.

I would like an early reply, because I shall leave Detroit on Wednesday of next week to be gone all summer.

Yours truly,
Charles L Freer
