Col. Frank J. Hecker,
Detroit, Michigan.

My dear Colonel:-

I have authorized Mr. W.O.Jacquette to sell, if possible, the Sheffield Farm belonging to the Wilson Estate, setting the price at $25,000.00, including everything on the farm belonging to the estate, live stock, tools, etc. If this price cannot be obtained, he has authority to go, if necessary, as low as $20,000.00. The property is mortgaged for $7,000.00 and we would expect to retire the mortgage at our own expense, or deduct that amount from the selling price. I have requested Mr. Jacquette to correspond with you should we begin negotiations with any would be purchaser.

Yours very truly,
Charles L Freer

The price above includes everything at the farm excepting two beds and the bedding thereof, and one and one half dozen towels.
