Anthony Gref, Esquire,
Care Dickerson and Brown,
Washington Life Building, 141 Broadway,
New York City.

My dear Mr. Gref:-

Your favor of the 29th is received and noted. Let me thank you for the information given. The amount of Michigan-Peninsular Shares outstanding equals such a ridiculously small proportion of the total issue, that we do not expect very much difficulty from disgruntled stockholders - in fact there is only one party who has any considerable holding and I presume Mr. Bootleby is probably looking up the law for him on the subject.

Thanking you very much for your kind information and hoping to have the pleasure of seeing you in New York on Friday next, the day before I sail for Europe, I remain,

Yours very truly,
Charles L Freer
