Mr. Bernal Bagshawe,
The Cedars,
Headingly, Leeds, England.

My dear Mr. Bagshawe:-

Permit me the pleasure of introducing to you my personal friend Mr. W. N. McMillan of St. Louis, who is identified with the Foreign Department of the American Car and Foundry company and who expects to spend a considerable amount of his time hereafter in your country and in travelling on the Continent.

Mr. McMillan's father is Chairman of the Board of Directors of the American Car and Foundry Company and the active leader of its affairs. In organizing the Foreign Department, Mr. McMillan invited his son to associate himself with the work and I have no doubt he will be very successful. He would like very much to consult with you on matters which may arise from time to time, and to the extent that you can advise him, I hope you will.

You will find Mr. McMillan a gentleman of fine social and business attainments, appreciative of favors, and ever ready and happy to reciprocate them. I am glad of the privilege of introducing you two gentlemen and believe that the acquaintance will prove mutually beneficial and agreeable.

Faithfully your friend,
Charles L Freer
