Messrs. W.S. Budworth and Sons,
New York City.

Gentlemen:-

I am in receipt of your favor enclosing letter received by you addressed to your Company, written by Douglas Volk, Secretary Society of American Artists, which was detached from Mr. C.L. Freer's voucher. I note that I am wrong and that the letter is your property, and beg to return the same to you herewith. However, as we like to have our records as complete as possible, I have taken the liberty of making a copy thereof, which I have attached to the voucher in lieu of the original.

Yours very truly,
HAB Aikman
