915 Union Trust Building,
Detroit, Mich., June 24th,1899.

Mr. George R. Turnbull,
V.P., Guaranty Trust Co.,
65 Cedar Street, New York City.

Dear Sir:-

Referring to my letter to you of the 21st instant enclosing ten First Mortgage Bonds of the Michigan-Peninsular Car Company, #230 to 239 inclusive, the cost of which was shown in detail in my letter, was $10.895.83, and which amount I asked you to kindly place to the credit of Mr. C. L. Freer's account with your Company. Instead of placing this amount to credit of Mr. Freer's account as requested in the above named letter, will you do me the favor to accept a draft for $10.895.83 made by Cameron Carris and Company of this city, payable to the order of the State Savings Bank of Detroit, dated June 18th, 1899, and which goes forward through the State Savings Bank for collection to-day. I do this at the request of Col. Hecker, who wishes the matter handled in this way instead of in the manner outlined in my letter of 21st instant.

Yours very truly,
HAB Airman
