27 Personal (x) November 28th, 1898 Mr. James Parmelee, 832 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio. My dear Mr. Parmelee:- I am just home after a [[ten?]] weeks absence in the east and am leaving for Chicago in a few hours for the purpose of seeing Mrs. Wilson in connection with the business affairs of our old friend Billy. I was with him when he died and promised to do what I can in the interest of his estate. He was a very attractive man in many ways, and a loyal friend. In the rush of the day I find it impossible to write you as I would like concerning southern India, but during the latter part of the week, after my return home, I shall be delighted indeed to give you such information as I can. Until then, believe me, with best wishes, Yours very sincerely, Charles L Freer
