915 Union Trust Building,
Detroit, Michigan, Oct. 2, 1899.

Mr. W. C. DeArmond,
Secretary, Pressed Steel Car Co.,
Empire Building, 71 Broadway, New York City.

Dear Sir:-
Replying to your inquiry of September 28th, I beg to say that engagements already made compel me to be in New York on Tuesday October 10th, therefore, as a matter of personal convenience, you can see that I could attend the meeting if it were held in New York. On the other hand, as you have wisely stated, it would doubtless be better for the Company's interests to hold your next meeting in Pittsburgh and give the Directors an opportunity to look over the new plant while the weather is so favorable. Of course my attendance at the meeting is immaterial and should you decide to hold your meeting in Pittsburgh, it will, meet with my hearty approval.

Yours very truly,
Charles L Freer
