PERSONAL.

My dear Mr. Bixby:-

I have yours of 29th ultime and note same with pleasure. I want to congratulate you upon your decision to add to McBride's responsibility and title. I am positive he will not disappoint you. In unloading details upon Mr. McBride, you are doing yourself a great good as it will enable you to give personal attention to important matters.

I am sorry to hear of Mr. Denker's illness, but it stands as an example of the result of over attention to details and wearing the harness too long.

With kindest regards, I am,

Yours very truly,
Charles L. Freer
