234 Hot Springs, Va., Oct. 21st, 1899. My dear Mrs. Wilson: - Your good letter of the 16th inst. reached me here, where I am spending a couple of weeks. I am pleased to know that you are so well satisfied with the sale of the coupler company. A prominent business man of New York has promised to accompany me to Sheffield some time during November, and it may be possible that he will purchase the farm. I cannot, of course, say definitely until he has seen the place. I thank you for reminding me of the bills against the farm, which I have paid, and I think they may as well run on until the first of January, unless the farm is sold in the meantime. I am very happy indeed to learn that your son William has secured a position with the Illinois Steel Company, and trust he will meet with full success. With kind regards, I am, Sincerely yours, Mrs. W.M. Wilson, #4551 Woodlawn Avenue, Chicago, Ill.
