Mr. W. J. McBride,
General Manager, Amer.Car & F.Co.,
Lincoln Trust Building,
St.Louis, Mo.
My dear Mr.McBride:-

Since writing you from New York yesterday I have returned home and had a chat with Mr.King. The circumstances which led up to the question of title were of a character which I now understand more fully and will name to you personally when I meet you in New York.

Mr.King is going right on with the work and will continue to do so as arranged for in your letter to Mr.Ames, until I see you.

I think that after you have learned all the circumstances in connection with the case, it will be wise to make some slight changes in the conditions and title under which Mr.King is now working.

I have asked him to drop you a line to-day personally on the subject, which will be very brief, but I have advised him to let me state all the particulars to you verbally.

With best wishes, I am,

Yours very truly,
Charles L Freer
