Miss Hattie Blair,
Care Post Office Dep't,
Stratford, Ontario

Your letter of 17th instant is received and fully noted.
I am very much obliged to you for having advised me so fully concerning the condition of Agnes' health. I am very sorry to learn that she suffers so much pain as well as other physical derangements. Of course it would be unwise for her to think of returning to her work until she is quite herself again and it may probably take some time to fully restore her.
Tell her she must not worry about her position as I will keep it for her, and until she returns I will make such temporary arrangements as may be necessary to have her work well cared for.
Her long continued illness must have been the means of incurring many expenses and I am handing you enclosed herewith post office order for $100.00. Won't you give this to Agnes with my compliments and best wishes for her early recovery, and see that it is used in such ways as will add to her mental and physical comfort. As named in my earlier letter, her salary will continue as heretofore.

Yours very truly,
Charles L Freer
