Mr. J. H. Wade,
105 East 18th Street,
New York City.

My dear Sir:-

Absence from home, together with a slight illness, has prevented earlier acknowledgement of your polite letter of the 9th instant. I am very glad indeed to have been of the slightest service to you, and if, after your journey to India, my little itinerary shall prove to have aided you, I shall be more than delighted. I thank you for the desire you express of meeting me after your return, and beg to assure you that I reciprocate most heartily.

Yours very sincerely,
Charles L Freer
