Dear Matsuki:-

I again forgot to make a settlement with you for some expenditures you made for me in Japan last year.   I certainly intended to have handed you the money I owe you on two distinct occasions, and each time forgot it.
Bear with me until I see you early in January, and if I do not think of it at the time, kindly remind me of it.
