Enclosed herewith please find the following checks:-
F. J. Hecker, $1796.66
C. L. Freer, 1796.65

amounting in all to $3593.31 being the cost of $4105.00 par value of 0.

[[?]] W. Thum stock, with interest thereon for [[?]] a month, in accordance with the figures handed to me by Mr. Smith to-day. 

This settles for my proportion of the $50.500.00 par value stock, as per agreement entered into at the time of the organization of the Company, and I trust that the same will be entirely satisfactory with you. 

The one-half share of stock due me kindly include in your settlement with Mr. A. B. Stephens. This will leave 410 shares due me, 50% of which kindly issue certificate for in the name of Frank J. Hecker, and for the remaining 205 shares, kindly have certificate issued in my name, and oblige,
