Stanford White, Esq.,
#160 Fifth Ave.,
New York, N. Y.

My dear Stanford:-
The employees of the City Engineer's office move slowly, and it is only to-day that they succeeded in finishing the map(which I send under separate cover) showing the lower end of the Belle Isle Park. I hope it will be of some use to you.

Mesers. Thomas Bros. of this city are the agents for the brocks you used in the Nurses' Home, and which you expressed the wish to have samples of. They said to me two or three days ago that they would be delighted, indeed, to send you specimens, and I presume they are in your possession by this time.

I expect Dewing next Sunday, and all will be in readiness at the bank for him on Monday.

Hastily yours,
Charles L Freer
