My dear Mrs. Anderson:-
I received by mail some months ago, the two etchings by Mr. Whistler, entitled "CAFE LUXEMBOURD" and "THE TERRACE, LUXEMBOURG. You were very kind, indeed, to send the same so promptly, but, as yet, I have received no invoice for them. Will you be good enough to mail the same at your early convenience, in order that I may make settlement.

Recently, I have made very careful examination of Mr. Whistler's lithographs in my collection, preparatory to exhibiting them in Chicago, under the auspices of the Carton Club who, as you may have heard, is now arranging to make at the Chicago Fine Arts Museum a very full exhibition of Mr. Whistler's etchings, dry paints and lithographs.

I am without quite a number of lithographs catalogued by Way, and I beg to enclose herewith a list of them, hoping that perhaps you may have all or part thereof, and that, if so, possibly
