638 624 #915 Union Trust Bldg., Detroit, Mich., February 5th, 1900. Mr. Geo. Hargreaves, Dist. Mngr., American Car & Foundry Co., C I T Y. My dear Mr. Hargreaves:- Absence from home has prevented earlier acknowledgement of your valued favor of January 27th, enclosing copy of a letter from Mr. Henrion concerning the building of B. C. R. & N. box cars. I am happy, indeed, to have had the pleasure of examining the record you sent, and I am delighted with the results shown. Surely, in building these cars, the Michigan Department surpassed all of its previous records, and I congratulate yourself and Mr. Henrion most heartily. Yours truly, Charles L. Freer
