Dear Dewing:-
Your telegram and letter of Monday were duly received, and in accordance with the conclusions formed by yourself and White, there will be no coating placed over the plaster work. We were under the impression here that both you and Stanford had considered it wise to use a thin coating of shelac or something of that sort. The plasterers have practically finished the ceiling, and the scaffold will be left in position until Stanford comes out about the 31st inst.
Russell has gone West to be absent three weeks, and in his absence I am doing what I can to help Donaldson along with the work.
I am glad you saw the new plan for the house.
