Mr. K. Sano,
Care of the Japan Tea Traders' Association,
#87 Front St., New York, N.Y.

Dear Sir:-
I have your letter of the 17th inst., and am
glad to know that you are in America again. I am sorry
that you could not find it convenient to stop in Detroit
on your way to New York, as I would have been very glad
to have received a visit from you.
I expect to be in New York sometime about March 12th, and hope to have the pleasure of seeing you there.
I will write to you a day or two in advance, and will stop at the Waldorf Hotel.
I hope you are very well and that you left your
family in the best of health. The son of Ex-Secretary Alger is now on his way to Japan via China, and expects to reach there about the
middle of next month.
With best wishes, I am,
Yours very truly,
Charles L. Freer
