PERSONAL.

Mr. George W. West,
Care New York, Ontario & Western Railroad Co.,
Middletown, N.Y.

My dear Mr. West:-

I am glad indeed to have your note of the 27th instant, but am very sorry that the old Seto dish was broken in shipment. If you will kindly return it to me by express, I will see if it is possible to have it mended, and will be happy indeed to replace it with something which I trust will reach you more safely.

I hope you are very well indeed, and I trust that the coming year will prove a very successful one to you. The large business now promising the railroads should add to their prosperity, and in this the officers of railways should participate.

With many holiday greetings, I remain

Yours very truly,
Charles L Freer
