Mr. Harrison S. Morris,
Managing Director, Penn's Academy of Fine Arts,
Philadelphia, PA.

My dear Sir:-

Your letter of December 30th addressed to Colonel Hecker, my business partner, came to him yesterday just as he was about to leave for Cuba. He asked me to reply to the same and to say to you that he will loan you for your forthcoming exhibition his painting by Whistler entitled "The Music Room". I presume that as usual you will have Messrs.Hanna and Noyes attend to packing and forwarding the picture. It should be insured for not less than $7500.00 and I do hope that no accident will happen to either the picture or frame.

Congratulating you upon having secured this very beautiful picture, I remain,

Yours truly,
Charles L. Freer
