Dear Sir:-

In the absence of President Hecker, your letter of December 31st addressed to him was opened by the writer.

Replying to your inquiry I beg to say that the daily New York quotations for the Common Stock of this Company during December, ran from 18 to 28. It is now being offered at about 25 and from 21 to 23 bid. Our last annual report, copy of which please find enclosed herewith, shows the dividends thus far paid on this class of stock. No additional dividends have been paid since the report was issued and we cannot at present writing say when dividends will be resumed.
