Dear Mr. Freer:
I again want to apologize for not shipping the two frames to you before this, and venture to say it will be another two weeks or later before we can get them to you. The only excuse I can forward you is that we have been up against the labor proposition, the like of which we have never experiences before, and though we have the frames practically finished find upon close examination that they were not exactly like the original frames, and we had to start another pair through, from the bottom up.

Owing to the general unrest in the labor, we have had to make some changes in our factory, and it always takes some time, before we can break these new people into doing the work as we are accustomed to do it, which has caused us considerable delay all around.

As before stated I regret not being able to ship these frames to you before this or sooner as stated above, but feel confident that when these frames do reach you they will be entirely up to your expectations.

Thank you for your patience in this matter, and with best wishes, we remain

Very truly yours,
NEWCOMB-MACKLIN CO.
