Office Supt Refugees &c. Fort Monroe Va Feb 15th 1866 Col. O. Brown Asst Comr Freedmen's Bureau State of Va Col. I have the honor to forward herewith the statement of Lieut. Brown Asst. Supt. Mathews Co. Va. of Crops raised by Freedmen on the Plantation of Miss S. Tabb. 1st The Freedmen report that they numbered ten persons. That they raised - Corn 270 bbls. Wheat 150 bu. Oats 600 bu. Fodder 6000 lbs 2nd The Overseer reports that there were Eight persons. That they raised Corn 250 bbls. Wheat 150 bu. Oats 400 bu. Fodder 5000 to 6000 lbs 3rd The Court have investigated the case and have set the amount as follows Corn 260 bbls. Wheat 150 bu. Oats 500 bu. Fodder 6000 lbs. and have decided to give the Freedmen one third of
