Lastly, Your Memorialist prays that she be allowed her portion of back rents in the Chesconessex lands which have been restored, belonging to her husbands estate in which she has dos in date, back to the time when her husband died the 5th day of July A.D. 1864.

Upshur a Notary Public in and for the city and state aforesaid, Henry A Wise, who being duly sworn upon the Holy Evangelists of Almighty God - declared that the facts contained in the above Memorial dated March 21, 1866 - are true to the best of his knowledge and belief, and that he is well acquainted with the facts therein stated.
