hundred (1200) dollars for carpenters work, Hard-ware - school fixtures, furniture &c. which outlay may be covered by a sale of say twelve (12) of the wards named above

If the enterprise is authorised by the Commissioner, I shall be obliged at once to secure the services of a gang of carpenters, and I respectfully submit the subject for your attention, asking if approved authority to offer at Public Auction at least twelve (12) of said wards, and also, for any further instructions you may desire to give me

It may be added, that in my judgement the buildings remaining in the hands of the Bureau after said sale will be ample to furnish all necessary material for any further improvements that may be called for.

The plan has the cordial approval of Genl. Armstrong Superintendent of this District

I am Very Respectfully
