I have the honor to return the discharge of Peter Gambray from the U.S. Navy. No bounty is allowed to persons enlisting in the Navy prior to July. 1st. 1864, unless they were transferred from the Army to the Navy. After July 1st. 1864, the same bounty was allowed to persons enlisting in the Navy as to those enlisting in the Army. Gambray entered the service in 1862. and therefore can receive no bounty.
