Mr Blackstone was made an Agent by the owners of those estates when about to abandon their homes, for the purpose of rebelling against the Government, so that he might protect their interest.

If Mr Blackstone is allowed to continue the agency conferred upon him by those disloyal parties, it might be the means of defrauding the government and would certainly, have a tendency to encourage disloyalty. We are of the opinion. that Mr Blackstones" object in getting possession of those estates, is more for the purpose of staying proceedings and being benefited by the fees: than the protection of the creditors, and if he is forced to dispose of them, it will be so managed" that the disloyal will be benefited, while the loyals will be deprived of their claims, If there are any loyal creditors. The courts are open and creditors can prosecute their claims as well
