States that agreeable to instructions contained in endorsement of May 23d, in reply to his com'n of May 17th 66, "suggesting that the Osnaburg clothing belonging to the Bureau be sold," he has endavored to sell it at auction, but, owing to the low prices offered, only a small portion was disposed of. — Suggests that the balance be distributed among the other Southern States, for use of the destitute freedmen.
