As the case of Dr. James L. Watson will undoubtedly excite much attention and criticism, it seems important that a short hand reporter should be present at the trial to correctly report its proceedings.

Will you oblige me by procuring a competent person, to perform this duty, and arranging for his payment.

The trial is expected to commence on Wednesday the 19tth inst.
