Genl Orlando Brown Act Asst Adjt Genl Bureau of R F & A Lands Richmond Va. Genl Susannah Johnson says that by an order of the Provost Court in this city of Norfolk 1864. her husband David Spratley then living in Hampton Va. was to pay $5.00 per month for the Support of his two children named Walter & Marthew However he never paid but $10.00 and there are two years due. She also states that he has her watch and refuses to give it her She is blind and in very poor circumstances and if any thing can be done to make her husband assist providing for her children she ought to have it. The man is said to be living in Hampton Va & well able to support his children I am Genl. very respectful &c Wm. P. Austin Capt A A Q.M. & Supt &c
