68 00/100, I have seen the Children & conversed with them. They are well clad & the oldest Boy informed me that they were well fed & kindly treated. Their only reason for wishing the Indentures Annulled is that they wish to work for themselves. I would respectfully recommend that the Children be left as they are, unless the Indentures are viewed by the Bureau as illegal, as the officers of the Bureau are regarded as the Guardians of Colored orphan minors
