his said apprentice in the trade and mystery of a houseservant which he now useth. Shall and will teach and instruct or cause to be taught or instructed in the best manner that he can, will and shall provide and allow unto said apprentice during all the said term competent and sufficient meat drink, washing lodging apparrel and all other things necessary for said apprentice and whereas the said County Court by the order aforesaid did direct that the said Joseph Waterfield for the services of said apprentice should pay upon her arrival to the age of Eighteen years the following sums to wit. ten dollars for the year when she attains the age of fifteen years. fifteen dollars of the next year. eighteen dollars for the next year. twenty five dollars for her last years service and the said Joseph Waterfield doth hereby covenant and agree to and with the said overseer of the poor and his successors in office that he shall and will, well and truely pay the sum of money to the said overseer of the poor or his successors in office for the use and objects specified in said order.

In witness whereof the said overseer of the poor and the said Joseph Waterfield have hereunto inter changeably set their hands and affixed their seals this the 11th day of February A. D.1860.
