I have the honor to state that the building, borne upon my Land Report as "Government Stables and "Transportation Office" in the city of Portsmouth Va. were never in my possession, but were sold by the Quartermaster's Department prior to me taking charge of this District. I would request that I be allowed to drop the same from my Report, and respectfully invite your attention to the enclosed certificate and order.
