Enclosed you will find requisition for transportation No. 507 for James Mallory, 8 men and 9 women, from Fort Monroe, Va., to Vicksburg, Va. They have [[strikethrough]]been[[/strikethrough]] contracted with Robertson, Jones and Co. Please obtain transportation orders from the Q.M. Dept and have two copies made. It is suggested that it is unnecessary to copy all the orders but that it will be sufficient to copy the one from the starting point and to state the series and numbers of the others, after the number of the one so copied. One copy to be forwarded to these HeadQuarters and the original orders, and other copy to be delivered to Mr. Thos. M. Jones, care of S.B. Chisman, Hampton Va who will receipt for the original orders.
