Respectfully returned to Capt Wm P. Austin. Sub. Asst Com'r. with information that the case of America Ingram (Col'd) is not before the court; the Grand Jury having failed to indict her. She was discharged: The trial of N.P. Adams (Wht) is set down for the next Circuit Court of Floyd Co. which sets next Sept.
No suit has been instituted by the woman, to my knowledge, for the recovery of the horse.
