Respectfully returned. I have visited Matthews County and examined the within named woman.

She is suffering from an extensive tumor in the axilla, apparently of a malignant character

The Physicians in Matthews Co. who have visited her and whom I saw, decline to operate, and the woman is suffering from the lack of attendance & appliances such as she could have in Hospital.
