Orders and Circulars are carefully preserved and the business of the office being quite limited letters received are neatly filed though not entered in a Book. A suitable book will, however, be required. A Station Book.

Capt Massey's records consist of a Book of Letters Received, containing full copies of all letters received, with references complete, and lacking only an index, Book of Endorsements and Memoranda, very creditably kept. Book containing all orders and Circulars received from all superior offices. Station Book, Record of Abandoned Property showing the actions of the Bureau with references thereto, in the form of retained copies of reports; and Book of Letters Sent. The Cash Book and Book of Cases Tried have been closed.
