States, that owing to indisposition, he has been unable to consult his Co-Committee men upon the prospect of the Soup House. States, that he has seen by the papers, that it will be put into
operation; regards it as the very best and cheapest charity
investment. States, that if the co-operation of the Committee be needed, or desirable, he will endeavor to secure it.
