court informs me that a true bill was found against Mrs. Howell by the Grand jury and on bringing the case before the March term of the Court, the Jury failed to agree, when the Commonwealth recommended that the case be dropped which was agreed to, by binding Mrs. Howell over as within stated. No other reason was given for the action of the Court. The above Officer states that the value of the Clothing produced in the Court, which was destroyed by Mrs. Howell would not exceed $1.50/100.

In my opinion the articles (now in my possession) cannot be replaced for less than or Eight or Five dollars.
