house.  Hester fearing that her life was in danger had a warrant issued against Mrs. Bradley on the charge of "unlawful search" "Threatening to kill" and "Threat of Arson".  The case was brought up last Thursday, before Justice Gentry, Mrs. Bradley not appearing on the plea of illness, though following her avocation, = and although Mrs Bradley was not present, yet Justice Gentry decided the case by handing Mrs. Bradley over to keep the peace in the sum of Two Hundred Dollars

In reviewing the above cases I cannot form any other opinion, than that the decisions of Mr Gentry are rendered very inequitably.  In the case of Johnson Mr Swartz admitted in Court that he had whipped Johnson, and one of the charges that of drawing a pistol and threatening to shoot him was fully sustained -
