Lieutenant,

Having been informed that the Asst Commissioner failed to receive my report, in reply to a letter of inquiry addressed to this Office, asking what disposition had been made of the acct of Mr H.V. Graves, of this County for rent of room for use of destitute colored, I desire again respectfully to state, that the acct was referred, according to instructions, to the Presd't of the Board of Overseers of the Poor for the County.

From the terms of the endorsement returning said acct, I inferred that the disposition thus made of it was intended to be final; and I therefore left the acct with the Presdt of the Board, to be presented by him at their next session for the auditing of accounts. I believe the Board does not convene for that purpose until some time in April/68.

Very Respectfully
Your Obt Servt
